Technical Sessions at the COVESA AMM

The Data Expert Group kicks off Wednesday (14th) with status and introductory sessions and turns to working sessions on building common interfaces, including the work of the IFEX and uServices projects.  During the remainder of Wednesday, the use of artificial intelligence in data collection, making the Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) work for passenger and commercial vehicles, and making VSS adoptable through the Central Data Service Playground are other topics on the schedule. On Thursday (15th) the vehicle data fun continues with expert group working sessions on extending VSS, COVESA’s EU Data Act Project, and other data-relevant topics.

Not to be outdone, the AOSP App Framework Standardization Group also has a robust set of sessions across both days. The group will discuss the recent code delivery of the UnifiedPush Notification project, its next project to build an AOSP Emulator, and round out Wednesday with a discussion of vehicle data in an Android AOSP context. Thursday’s AOSP program will be a full-day workshop for content and app developers learning to adopt existing code and coding new features defined by the project.

In parallel to both tracks of content, the Commercial Vehicle Expert Group will also gather for several working sessions to explore fleet management based on open standards and offboard APIs for commercial fleets.

We invite you to look at the online agenda to find other important sessions across both days. Please consider registering and securing your hotel rooms today.

COVESA Member Visibility Roundtable

Another highlight for audiences with marketing, communications, or product management responsibilities in their companies – during lunch on Thursday, we will hold a second “Member Visibility Roundtable.” Following up on an excellent discussion during last Fall’s event, we will explore ways of making COVESA’s marketing efforts more valuable to members, searching for that intersection of member success and COVESA success from a communications perspective.  All are welcome, and more details will be provided, but make plans to join others for an energizing dialog over lunch on Thursday (15th).

Please consider registering and securing your hotel rooms today. We look forward to seeing you in Berlin!
