Startup & Startup PLUS Member Program Explained

The purpose of the Startup Associate Member (SAM) Program is to encourage immediate, active participation in COVESA technical and business activities by startup companies as they develop their first products. Eligibility for the program is summarized in the below table.

How to Apply to Become a COVESA Startup or Startup Member

Become a COVESA Startup associate
  1. Startup applicants are recommended to secure a mentoring organization that is a member of COVESA (or alternatively, a COVESA-recognized startup incubator i.e. Plug and Play, etc.).
  2. The mentoring COVESA member or incubator partner should send an email to Mike Nunnery who manages the COVESA Startup program at marketing@covesa.global. The email should include the startup organization’s name and primary contact person, indicating the member’s willingness to mentor the startup organization.
  3. Complete the online Startup Membership Application.
  4. Download and complete the COVESA Startup Participation Agreement.
  5. Email the completed Startup Participant Agreement to COVESA Member Services at help@covesa.global, who will approve and process your application sending you your membership invoice.
  6. Upon receipt of the invoice for membership, pay the annual fee by check or wire transfer (additional bank fees apply). Further information will be provided on the membership invoice. Submit Forms and Payment

After completing your Online Application and Participation Agreement, you will receive an email confirmation of your acceptance as a new COVESA member, along with an invoice reflecting your chosen membership level.

Once you have paid the invoice, you can send your company logo to help@covesa.global, and your membership application process will be complete.
