Why did you join COVESA and how long has your company been a member?

COMPREDICT joined COVESA in 2022 to collaborate with global leaders on standardizing vehicle data ecosystems.

We believe that interoperability and open data models are critical to accelerating implementation, acceptance, and innovation of Software Defined Vehicles. By aligning with COVESA’s mission, we aim to shape industry-wide standards that enable seamless integration of predictive analytics and AI solutions across platforms. 

What benefits does your participation in COVESA bring to your company and business? 

• Influence on Standards: Contributing to data model specifications ensures our solutions align with future industry requirements.
• Market Access: Networking with OEMs and suppliers opens doors to partnerships and new use cases for our technology.

Which COVESA collaborative project(s) or Birds of a Feather (BoF) is your company engaged in, and why is that beneficial to your business?

COMPREDICT is currently not active in a project but was carefully following the progress of the Vehicle Signal Specification (VSS) project by using it in multiple demos, for example, with BlackBerry and now with NXP. After an observation time, we decided to engage into some concrete demonstration with NXP to identify the best action spot.

When COVESA focuses on proposing standards, COMPREDICT is a partner of choice to use them and to demonstrate with real-world and business-relevant applications the benefit of them in the context of SDV.
