What does your company do? What services or products do you provide?  

MongoDB’s developer data platform helps organizations drive innovation at scale by providing a unified way to work with data that addresses transactional workloads, app-driven analytics, full-text and vector search, AI-enhanced experiences, streaming data, and more.

At the core of our developer data platform is the most advanced cloud database service on the market, MongoDB Atlas, which can run in any cloud, or even across multiple clouds to get the best from each provider without vendor lock-in.

Why did you join COVESA and how long has your company been a member?

We have been a member of COVESA for more than two years now. MongoDB plays an important role in COVESA by sharing insights about managing vast and varied connected vehicle data.

We also support the standardization efforts for vehicle signal specification (VSS), which is crucial for ensuring that different systems within vehicles can communicate seamlessly and makes it easier for developers to innovate in the connected vehicle space.

We have been proudly sponsoring COVESA All Member Meetings (AMMs) and CES showcases on a regular basis.

What benefits does your participation in COVESA bring to your company and business? 

Through COVESA, we learn about technology trends and standards for software-defined and connected vehicles, which helps us better serve our customers. We also get to hear from industry thought leaders at the COVESA AMMs. 

Which COVESA collaborative project(s) or Birds of a Feather (BoF) is your company engaged in, and why is that beneficial to your business?

MongoDB is engaged in the Data Expert Group: architecture and infrastructure and collaborating with other COVESA members to optimize VSS data storage with NoSQL document databases.
