Why did you join COVESA, and how long has your company been a member?
Rinf Tech has worked in automotive and mobility since 2009. As Rinf Tech has increased investment in the Americas, it’s become increasingly important for the company to be a part of the automotive ecosystem; COVESA represents a significant component of that ecosystem.
Already, Rinf Tech is seeing the value of being a part of the alliance, from the opportunity to influence future technologies, to tech scouting, to networking with important members of the mobility space. As a company, Rinf Tech’s goal is to bring value wherever we have a presence, and the opportunity to add value to COVESA through thought leadership has been increasingly important, with webinars for topics such as Secure Boot HSE vs. HSM. We joined COVESA this year (2025) and are thrilled with the results and possibilities.

Which COVESA collaborative project(s) or Birds of a Feather (BoF) is your company engaged in, and why is that beneficial to your business?
COVESA offers a variety of groups that are well aligned with Rinf Tech’s professional engineering services. One of Rinf Tech’s differentiators is our ability to bring solutions from the Fintech and IoT domains to the car. This makes the In-Car Wallet – Payments & Orchestration group extremely interesting. The work and thought leadership we already drive within Secure Boot and Security leads the other natural group to be the COVESA Security Group.
By participating in these groups, we help to frame the industry discussion and standards that benefit not just our company but the broader mobility industry.
